Job Summary: The position of Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. JOB DESCRIPTION / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Install, inspect, and test electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure they meet regulatory standards and specifications.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
    • Conduct regular maintenance of electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
    • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
    • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to execute electrical projects according to deadlines and quality standards.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures while working on electrical installations or maintenance.
    • Maintain records of work performed, including maintenance logs and inventory of tools and parts.
    • Recommend improvements to electrical systems to enhance efficiency and reliability.

 



QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS


  • • OND/HND Electrical engineering - with experience in Electrical installation and maintenance.
    • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a technical field
    • Experienced in installation and commissioning of DC & AC electrical equipment.
    • Good communication skills and computer proficiency will be necessary.
    • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial or engineering environment.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
    • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
    • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations; work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces or heights.
