Customer Service/Data Entry Officer

Our client is an archiving company located in Ajah and Epe axis of Lagos Nigeria, they are currently in need of a detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Customer Service/Data Entry Officer.
Purpose of the Job: The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering all data of files into the system, maintaining accurate record keeping of files in the system, maintaining good documentation procedures for all clients and reporting while also attending to customer needs and inquiries.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage customer interactions via email, phone, and in-person, ensuring all queries are addressed promptly.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Draft documents, letters, and statements as required by clients.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues.
• Create work orders for delivery/collection of records and maintain follow-ups.
• Perform data entry tasks, including typing content into the system, generating client reports, and ensuring the quality of data input.
• Manage switchboard operations, document scanning, filing, and archiving tasks.



JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

B.Sc/HND in any field
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced knowledge of Word and Excel)
• Experience with data entry software or records management systems, such as RS-SQL, is a strong advantage.
• Typing Speed: Proven fast typing skills, with a high level of accuracy, are essential for data entry tasks.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, data entry, or administrative roles, preferably in a corporate or data-driven environment.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and simultaneously.
Competencies:
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain order in tasks and data management.
• Highly dependable, showing consistency in performance and reliability in meeting deadlines.
• Adaptable and flexible, able to adjust to changing priorities and tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and maintaining a positive client experience.
• High levels of focus and diligence in ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
